LA2.1 & LA3.1: Demonstrate encoding video for various resolutions and platforms
I am going to encode my short film into multiple formats, resolutions and on 2 platforms, those being YouTube and Vimeo.
1080p YouTube Video - 1080p is a larger file but it is higher in quality, this is better for larger screens.
720p Youtube Video - 720p is lower in quality but is a smaller file size, this is better for mobile devices or smaller screens.
Vimeo 1080p Video - Vimeo is a similar app to youtube and the same rules apply, so a higher resolution means a higher fie size, slower download/upload speed etc.
Vimeo 480p Video - this file is way smaller due to the resolution being lower, meaning it is a smaller and faster download/upload.
Don't forget to include your videos encoded specifically for Vimeo as well Jake
