Why is oracy important to me?

Oracy is important to me because it means I can speak well mannered and confidently when doing important things or pursuing goals, such as job interviews.

Currently I think speaking in front of a group of people wouldn't be too hard of a struggle, I may be nervous but I could easily persevere.

It's important to me because when I was in secondary school I didn't have the Oracy skills to stand up for myself and become my own person, preach my own views. This is important because I wouldn't be the person I am today without gaining better oracy skills.

Problems I may encounter?

I may encounter nervousness and stage fright due to speaking to a moderately large group of maybe 10/15 people, but that depends on the size of said group.

  Thursday 17th September 2020 Today i selected a movie from a shortlist and described the reasons why i have chosen the scene to show to the rest of the group. My chosen movie was Cube. I described the scene which was at the end of the movie, the final scene where they have found the exit to the cube, and are about to escape but a massive plot twist happens and Kazan is the only one out of the group who is able to escape. The reason i selected this scene and talked about it is because it's a suspenseful scene, with a big plot twist and its very enjoyable to watch.
